ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ಬಲು ಸ್ತುತ್ಯ ನಿನ್ನ ಕಾರ್ಯ
ನೀನಿಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ ಎಲ್ಲಿಹುದು ಜೀವಜಾಲ
ನಿನ್ನಿಂದಲೇ ಬದುಕು ಬಹುಕಾಲ
ಮೂಡುಗಡೆಯಲಿ ಬೆಳಗಿ ಮಡುದಿಕ್ಕಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಳುಗಿ
ವಿಶ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ಚೇತನವ ನೀಡುತಿಹೆ ತೊಳಗಿ
ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಕಂಗೊಳಿಸಿ ಜೀವಜಾಲಗಳನೆಚ್ಚರಿಸಿ
ಮತ್ತೆ ಮರೆಯಾಗುತಿಹೆ ಜಗಕೆ ತಂಪನು ಸುರಿಸಿ

                                                             ಬಾಳಿನ ಅರ್ಥ

ಏರಿದೆ ಗಗನಕೆ ಬೆಲೆಯು
ಇಲ್ಲವು ಬಾಳಿಗೆ ನೆಲೆಯುಹೆಚ್ಚಿದೆ ಬೆಲೆ ಎಲ್ಲದಕೂ
ಮುದುಡಿದೆ ಮನುಜನ ಬದುಕು
ಕಾಲಿಗೆ ಎಳೆದರೆ ತಲೆ ಕಡೆ ಬಾರದು
ತಲೆ ಕಡೆ ಎಳೆದರೆ ಕಾಲದು ಮುಚ್ಚದುಹಾಸಿಗೆ ಇದ್ದಷ್ಟು ಕಾಲನು ಚಾಚು
ಎಂದರು ಹಿರಿಯರು ನೀತಿಯ ಮಾತು
ಹಾಸಿಗೆ ಎಂಬುದೆ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಹೋದರೆ
ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಚಾಚಲಿ ಕಾಲನು ಸೋತು
ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ತುಂಬಿದೆ ಕಳ್ಳರ ಸಂತೆ
ಎಲ್ಲರ ಮಾತು ಸುಳ್ಳಿನ ಕಂತೆ
ನ್ಯಾಯಕೆ ಧರ್ಮಕೆ ಬೆಲೆಯೆ ಇಲ್ಲ
ಅರ್ಹತೆ ಯೊಗ್ಯತೆ ನೋಡುವರಿಲ್ಲಿ
ಜೀವನ ಮಟ್ಟವು ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ಕುಸಿದಿದೆ
ಬಾಳಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಥವೆ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಆಗಿದೆ
ಬಡವ ಬಲ್ಲಿದ ಎನ್ನುವ ಭೇದ
ಮೇಲು ಕೀಳು ಎನ್ನುವ ವಾದ
ಮುಳ್ಳದು ನಾಡಿನ [...]
